On one of her podcasts, Paige recounted her amateur golf days when she competed with Angel Yin at Moon Valley Country Club, Phoenix at an American Junior Golf Association tournament. The rounds did not end well for the golfer-turned-model as Yin went ahead to outshine young Spiranac on every hole. A lot taller and stronger, Angel was hitting the ball magnificently while her opponent was struggling all around. And that brought tears into Spiranac’s eyes.

Although she had another chance at revenge in 2016, she failed to make the cut while the LPGA Tour pro tied for the 10th position.
