Daly, famous for his long drives off the tee, spoke about how he once played an event with Tiger and Phil Mickelson and how the 15-time major championship winner made a funny comment about his shirt at the Battle at the Bridges in 2004. At the same time, he also revealed what they called him on the PGA Tour due to his brand endorsements.

Daly said, “I’m like they call me the NASCAR guy with all the logos on my shirt.” Moreover, the host of the sport asked him about losing an endorsement due to gaining weight. To which John replied, “I actually lost weight a little bit but then what was funny is I was playing the battle at the bridges two years ago with Tiger, it was me, Tiger, and Phil.”

He added, “I had the TrimSpa on the chest and I had Dunkin Donuts on the right sleeve. And Tiger goes that’s really good JD you got Dunkin Donuts and TrimSpa. And then Daly replied to Woods and said, “Hey it beats AA and Miller Lite.”

Daly’s words prove the witty sense of humor both professionals possess. At the same time, it also depicts how famous Daly was during the 2000s and the number of endorsement deals he got. It is truly incredible.

When did Tiger Woods win his first major championship?

The 46-year-old won his maiden major championship title and his first green jacket at the 1997 Masters. He won the event one year after turning professional and dominated the field that week. Tiger won the major championship event with an overall score of 18-under-par. As a result, he won with a record-breaking 12-shot margin. On top of that, Woods carded a final round of three-under-par, 69 to finish on the top of the leaderboard. His final round included two birdies and two bogeys on the opening nine holes. At the same time, he made three birdies on the back nine to make the turn in three-under-par, 33.
