Since 2016, golf has been a regular occurrence at the Olympics. American fans will especially remember the last Olympics, where Xander Schaufelle grabbed a gold medal for the nation. Now it looks like the preparations for the upcoming Paris Olympics are in their final stages, with the official clothing lineup coming up.
With Team USA returning to defend their title, how they dress themselves plays a crucial role. The American team has picked J.Lindeberg to design men’s and women’s Olympic golf teams’ apparel. The bold choices of designs chosen by the Scandinavian label for the Team USA look have been remarked as a failed attempt by the fans, and have left them with a sour taste in their mouths.

The clothing label is famous for making bold choices in its design, as showcased many times by the brand’s sponsored golfer, Viktor Hovland. However, many times, fans have also critiqued the outfits selected by Hovland. Be it his apparel choice at Masters in Augusta National last year or the year before that, fans have taken cheeky shots at the golfer.
The clothing brand put a lot of time into the material used, making it UV50-protected with ClimaCool moisture wicking. Alas, it was not enough, and this time the designs for the Paris Olympics fell prey to criticism from the fans.
Fans do not accept the bold designs made by Viktor Hovland’s sponsor
The classic red, white, and blue colors are heavily used in the outfits. However, fans are not loving the design choices made by the clothing brand.
A fan launched a double attack on the design choices, questioning if J.Lindeberg thinks Viktor Hovland is an American player.
Do they think Hovland plays for USA?

Another fan quipped that zero thought about golf players was put into designing the outfits for the Paris Olympics.
