The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed a new quarterback! And as a die-hard fan of the team, the former professional golfer, Paige Spiranac, had a lot to say about the new recruit.

“In sad news though, speaking of the Steelers,” said Spiranac in the latest episode of her podcast, ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee.’ The golfer sounded genuinely sad when she said how optimistic she was last time thinking her favorite NFL team would pick a good quarterback.

“So our quarterback roster is so sad,” Spiranac added. “Mason Rudolph, Dwayne Haskins, and Mitch Trubisky.” Naming the quarterbacks of the Steelers, the golfer did sound happy.

The Pittsburgh Steelers recently signed a two-year deal with Mitch Trubisky for $14 million. He was first drafted for the Chicago Bears, where he struggled to find consistency. Later, he signed with the Buffalo Bills for the 2021 season as a backup for their star quarterback, Josh Allen
