Health issues can take a toll on people. For example, Tiger Woods was performing well in his career until he met the 2021 accident, which almost finished his golfing career. He had to withdraw from the 2023 Masters Championship and go into rehabilitation. Similarly, Jessica Korda took a hiatus after she was diagnosed with a back injury

But for the next season, both of these golfers have updated on the possibility of making a comeback on the greens. Similarly, another PGA Tour golfer who was fighting a deadly ailment is returning to the course.

PGA Tour Pro gives a positive update about his return

In 2016, when Morgan Hoffmann was just 27, he was diagnosed with an incurable muscular dystrophy. Hence, to find a cure and save his life, he went to Costa Rica. There, he experimented with several ways to get rid of the deadly ailment. The process included eating 800 grapes and drinking his own urine as well.

After that, he made a comeback at the 2022 RBC Heritage, where he missed the cut. In the same year, he missed cuts in three out of five tournaments and again went aloof after his performance at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. 

But as the latest news transpired, the golfer is trying to make a comeback on the PGA Tour for the 2024 schedule. A post about the same was shared on Twitter. It said, “With full Korn Ferry Tour status for 2024, there is a path back to the PGA Tour for Morgan Hoffmann.  We caught up with the 34-year-old at an event with his foundation in partnership with @FirstTee”

Morgan is exempt from the Korn Ferry Tour this year. Being back on the greens again, Morgan expressed his delight.

Morgan Hoffmann’s stance on making a comeback

The one who fought his deadly disease with urine therapy and natural habitat is Morgan Hoffmann. The golfer has been away for a while but next year he is making a return. Now, he has expressed his opinions about the same. He said, “Muscle’s definitely coming back stronger than it has in a long time. It’s not 100 percent, I’m still working on my health a lot, doing a lot of different modalities. But it’s getting there and it’s going in the right direction”

He added, “It’s definitely the best I’ve felt in a long time. When I stopped playing a couple of years ago, my swing speed was down to 104 mph with my driver. Right now it’s back to 111.
