The exit of Phil Mickelson could make it harder for the court to compel certain information and documents from Phil. The status of the decision of the rest of the defectors is still unclear.
With the massive decision taken by Mickelson, several fans shared their reaction on Twitter. Some appreciated Lefty while others believe the lucrative series was afraid to face their nemesis in the court. One fan even called Phil, “The ultimate coward’s hero”.

His deposition would most likely not been good his PGAT violations would have been brought to light and tarnished his reputation further- gambling, suspension, player recruitment which violates PGAT rules – Phil needs to get his reputation back

It's a lawsuit that simply doesn't need to be, the PGA tour and liv could easily have a partnership or at least have a good relationship if the PGA tour commissioner wasn't such a douche.

With Bryson DeChambeau still part of the lawsuit, there might still be a case pending in court. However, with many defectors deciding to backtrack from the lawsuit, DeChambeau’s decision will be much awaited by the fans.
