Will Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake's T-Squared Social in Scotland redefine the sports bar experience?

If there is one thing Tiger Woods has gotten from golf, besides the name and fame, it is great friends. And well, whenever one thinks about the 15x major winner’s friendships, Justin Thomas is one name that never fails to pop up. The duo met on the PGA Tour in 1996 for the first time. Woods refers to JT as his younger brother and even Charlie Woods shares a great bond with him, and the two are often seen pulling each other’s leg. From practicing with each other to playing against each other, and most importantly, living nearby, Woods’s and Thomas’s bond is one of mutual love and respect.

Well, Thomas is not the only Justin in Woods’s life who holds significant value. There is one more who is not from the golf world but from the music scene. He is none other than Justin Timberlake. Both Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods are known to be amazing fathers. Hence, back in 2018, when they met each other for the first time, they talked mostly about fatherhood. “We discussed how we want our children to see us and how you balance your dedication to them with competitive drive,” said Timberlake.

Interestingly, Woods’s two confidantes also gel along well. At the Valspar Championship, there is a tradition where the golfers can write anything on the back of their caddie’s bib. When J.T. Poston found out he was paired up with Justin Thomas, he wrote, “The Other JT,” as a joke. JT then retweeted one of Poston’s posts, and wrote, “Huge putt on the last to clip @JT_ThePostman by 1 today. Gives me full ‘JT’ bragging rights for tomorrow.” While they thought the fight was over, this was when Justin Timberlake walked in.

I have entered the comments,” he wrote, settling the debate of the superior JT. Justin Timberlake himself is an avid golfer and is found swinging his clubs at times. This makes him known among the professional golfers. When he commented, JT replied, “C’mon man…can’t you just let us have one week!!!”

Woods is yet to enter into a business venture with JT, instead, he is in a business relationship with the Northern Irishman, having formed TGL. But he sure has a business partnership with Justin Timberlake.

Have an interesting take?

After five years of being friends, Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods planned to expand their business across the Atlantic, setting their sights on St. Andrews, Scotland. The duo is planning to transform the New Picture House Cinema into a T-Square Social location for the masses. Tiger Woods and Timberlake had previously created a sports bar and indoor golf experience in Manhattan, near the Grand Central Station by the name T-Squared Social. The one announced in 2024 will be an expansion after the previous project saw a rapid success rate.

“The idea for T-Squared Social came to us during a round of golf at Albany, our development in The Bahamas,” Woods said in the press release. “Justin and I thought it would be cool to create a place that combines our favorite things and brings people together to just have a great time. We always knew we wanted to do something together, and NEXUS gave us the platform to bring our idea to life.”

The musician then added, “We knew a concept like T-Squared Social would thrive in New York. It’s a beautiful space that transcends the typical sports bar experience. You can go to be entertained without sacrificing quality or comfort. We’re excited to be partnering with 8AM Golf on this incredible opportunity right in the heart of one of the greatest cities in the world.”

The outlet in New York City is located on East 42nd Street and has been curated as a joint effort between the NEXUS Luxury Collection and 8 AM Golf. They not only serve domestic and international draft beers but also have a huge selection of local and international wines. The drink menu also has craft cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails, with a side of the perfect food menu with an elevated take. There is no wonder as to why it did so well!
