What did the children do with the money?

The kids’ mother, Ann Van Karsen, was also moved by the gesture, certainly stunned by the swift happening of events. She even referred to Mickelson as a ‘great guy’. “So generous and the kids will have a memory like that forever”.
Additionally, both children had different ideas about the tip. While Elise wanted to save and buy a kindle, Roland had some other plans. Though nothing seemed to be certain, the latter was certainly edging towards a nerf gun he was saving up for.
