As the new season tees off, Xander Schauffele is more determined than ever to make his mark on the golf world. The Olympic gold medalist has been putting in the hard work, fine-tuning his skills, and preparing for the challenges ahead. As he gets ready to tee off at The Sentry Tournament of Champions, held at the Plantation Course at Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii, the question on everyone’s mind is, what is Schauffele carrying with him at Kapalua?

Schauffele’s decision to switch to Callaway’s new Elyte Woods was influenced by his experience testing the driver for two months. He was thoroughly impressed with the performance and feel of the new driver, and it didn’t take him long to make the switch. “Yeah, I have all the new Elyte woods in… it was probably the easiest transition,” he said. “I literally have the exact same driver that they gave me in Vegas as my first look thing they did for their social media team,” he added.

The Elyte driver, which retails for around $649, has clearly made a strong impression on Schauffele. His bag also features the Paradym 3D Ventus black TR 6x driver ($599) and the Paradym 3D Ventus black TR 7x 3-wood ($399), showcasing his commitment to using only the best equipment available. The Elyte driver’s advanced technology and design are expected to provide Schauffele with the extra yardage and control he needs to compete at the highest level.

Schauffele will be putting his new equipment to the test at The Sentry Tournament of Champions. In addition to his new driver and fairway woods, Schauffele’s bag also features the Callaway Apex MB irons ($2,399 for a set of 8). “Put new irons in the bag. Same ones. I think that would be it,” he said. With his new equipment in tow, Schauffele is confident that he has the tools he needs to make a strong run at the title and kick off the new season in style.

Well, let me tell you – the guy’s got some serious firepower at his disposal. He’s rocking a trio of Jaws Raw wedges from Callaway, featuring 50, 54, and 59-degree lofts, each paired with a KBS $ Taper 130x shaft ($249 each). These wedges are basically spin machines, helping Schauffele navigate even the toughest shots on the course. And with them, he can expect to see some serious improvement in his short game – we’re talking more accuracy, more consistency, and more clutch shots around the greens.

But that’s not all – Schauffele’s also got a trusty Wilson Staff 8802 putter, modified with a Stroke Lab shaft ($199), and he’s playing the Callaway Chrome Soft X ball ($49.99 per dozen). The putter’s all about consistency and a smooth roll, helping Schauffele sink those crucial putts. And the ball? It’s all about distance and accuracy – Schauffele’s getting more ball speed and a more penetrating flight, which means he can attack the course with confidence. With this gear, Schauffele’s ready to take on the best of the best at The Sentry Tournament of Champions.
