With the talent that Tiger Woods has, it is certain that he needs a caddie who is just as skilled. And in 2011, he found that in Joe LaCava. For over a decade now, the two have been working together, and this has unquestionably created a strong bond between the pair. They’re more than just colleagues now. They’re friends! And the caddie recently showcased how strong that bond really was when he dished out some bold, wise words to the PGA Tour pro.

As per Golfweek’s recent report, after the second sound, Joe said to the press, “I don’t want him on his feet for an hour and a half before he even plays. I get it.” But despite understanding that Woods needed rest, the caddie also knew that he needed practice. “He hasn’t had enough attention to his short game,” he said.

LaCava added that the 82-time PGA Tour champion needed a little of extra time on the course with his putters. He let him know that via a text that said he needed 10 extra minutes of chipping and 10 extra minutes of putting practice before the third round. The golf pro, of course, took his words seriously and was on the course early on Saturday. Well, it certainly helped his game!
