The Sunday round wasn’t easy. Golfers faced light to moderate rains and windy conditions. Tommy Fleetwood gave his best but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. The golfer, yet to win a major competition, had a one-over final round. And that was that!
Yes, the English Professional golfer tried his best to reach the top of the leaderboard in Sunday’s round. Despite all his efforts, he ended the tournament in the T10 position by scoring 4-under par in total. He was 9 strokes behind the Claret Jug winner Brian Harman. However, after the event was over, Fleetwood took to Twitter to pour his heart out.
He shared his picture with the caption, “Hurting, gutted, dejected. All I can say right now is thank you to everyone for the support & love and for making some of the most amazing memories chasing a dream in front of you. Congrats Brian. You were outstanding and so deserving of this win! We’ll be back. See you at work”
