The World #1 golfer, Scottie Scheffler, is paired alongside the World #2 Rory McIlroy and the World #5 Xander Schauffele. The matchup is stacked not only in terms of ranks but stats as well. Starting with Scheffler, who is aiming to secure his second Masters title after a 2022 win, Then there is McIlroy, who is making his 10th attempt to achieve the career grand slam. As for Schauffele, the 30-year-old pro is here to prove that he “can beat Scheffler,” as stated on PGA Tour radio after THE PLAYERS Championship. Schauffele has had a good year so far with top finishes, and he is surely one of the players that fans will be looking out for!
Apart from that, Jordan Spieth is paired with Ludvig Aberg and Sahith Theegala. Although the second-youngest Masters champion is exercising caution due to his wrist injury, the 30-year-old veteran might be also looking forward to teeing up with two emerging PGA Tour stars.
