The 2024 Masters preparation is in full swing, Augusta National has sent out the invites to the players as Matt Fitzpatrick shared on his social media. However, with the OWGR rejection over the points to the LIV Golf events, it remains uncertain how many LIV golfers will be playing at the 2024 Masters and how many will procure the eligibility criteria. Below are the full qualification criteria for the 2024 Masters and the top eligible LIV golfers.

Eligible players from LIV Golf for the 2024 Masters

Every year since 1934, the Masters tournament starts in April on the Augusta National Golf Course. The traditional event sees players coming from all around the world courtesy of its varied qualification criteria. The Masters has 19 different pathways through which the players can qualify.

After failing to acquire the crucial OWGR points and securing the top 50 ranks, the LIV golfers can look forward to either participating via qualification criteria or by receiving a special invite from the Masters authorities,  if they deem the player as deserving.

10 players from the LIV Golf’s 48-man roster are eligible for the 2024 Masters tournament and probably have gotten the invites. These players either had won the Masters itself or any other major in the last five years. The list of the 10 players is given below:

Courtesy of the qualification criteria, many LIV Golf pros can still tee it up at the Augusta National. Moreover, players like Joaquin Niemann (rank 62), Dean Burmester (rank 73), and Louis Oosthuizen (rank 133) can improve their ranks while playing at the DP World Tour events and hop in the top 50 for the Masters Invitation.

Other than these iconic golfers, Henrik Stenson (2016 The Open winner), Louis Oosthuizen (2010 British Open champ), and Martin Kaymer (2014 U.S. Open winner) are still not qualified despite being major winners because the 5-year period from the victories to the 2024 Masters has concluded.
