Although the former still hasn’t ruled out the option of switching tours, Cantlay has proven his loyalty to the American Tour several times. However, despite being on the same tour for now, the Norwegian star did something that is being presumed as his reaction to Cantlay’s slow play during the final round.

After making Rahm and Brooks Koepka wait for a really long time, Cantlay was still meandering on the fairway. But as fans could clearly see during the live feed, his playing partner Viktor Hovland decided to take a shot on the green before the American even made it to his position. Well, it was not very surprising since Cantlay actually took a very long time before making most of his shots in the tournament.

Being on the top of the leaderboard for most rounds, Koepka has always been one of the fastest players on the course. However, he had to pace things down a bit, thanks to Cantlay in the group in front of him. Although the golfer didn’t make any straightforward comments about another player, he definitely didn’t hesitate while stating what happened.

When asked about his pace during the final round being notably slower, Koepka responded, “Yeah, the group in front of us was brutally slow. Jon went to the bathroom like seven times during the round, and we were still waiting.”
