That is why, when someone actually gets a chance to stand next to the 15-time Major Champion on the course, it is natural for them to act nervously. A similar thing probably happened with this tour professional at the Masters Tournament practice round.

What he did in front of so many golf fans at the Augusta National Golf Course, was nothing less than embarrassing for him. As expected, the internet had a lot to say about it, with one seeming to hint at what should happen to the young golfer!

That is exactly what got the best of PGA Tour professional Tom Kim after he was grouped with some of the best golfers in the world, including Tiger Woods! The 21-year-old was selected to play with Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Fred Couples. Despite the great honor of being in the same group as these legends, Kim just couldn’t take the pressure!

As per a recent tweet by golf writer Daniel Rapaport, “Tom got his first-Augusta-trip jitters out a few weeks back. Went crazy in the pro shop. Couldn’t decide between a green golf bag and a white one. So, naturally, he bought them both.” Well, that was not all!

In another tweet shared by The Masters Tournament’s official page, Tom Kim did something that was embarrassing enough for his fans to hide their faces in shame! True golf fans would be aware of and expectantly awaiting the tradition of golfers skipping no 16 by striking a golf ball, getting it to bounce on the water, and hoping that it ends up on the green. Well, it looked like Kim didn’t quite understand the assignment.

Using all his might and strength, the golfer hit the ball high up in the air, making it across to the green in no time. On the other hand, Tiger Woods and his other buddies tried making it skip through the water, but none of them could make it to the green! But a tradition is a tradition. And it looks like Tom Kim has learned his lesson this year!
