Despite all his efforts, Woods hasn’t been able to walk without a noticeable limp. And it has adversely affected all his recent performances in tournaments. Moreover, with the Masters event on his head, Woods is currently under a lot of pressure to play well for himself and his fans.
Tied at 54th for now, Woods talked about his present ‘sore’ leg situation in his flash interview at the tournament. When a reporter asked the player why he was “hopping in the bunker,” the golfer said, “It’s on my left leg. I’m good.” Not to forget, Woods almost lost his right leg during the infamous car crash two years ago. And as of now, the golfer has a metal rod and multiple screws holding his leg together.
“Hop on the left leg is fine. If I did it on the other one, not so fine,” the golfer added. And when asked if there was something specific that worsened the pain, Woods confirmed that “It’s constant!”

Was Woods satisfied with his game in the previous round?
Playing a competitive round after a long time, Woods made four pars and three bogeys before making his No. 8 birdie. However, his own analysis of his performance seemed a lot more positive than expected. “I felt like I drove it good,” the 47-year-old said. “I just didn’t do the job I need to do to get the ball close.”

But at the same time, the golfer wished to do better in the next round. “Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be a little bit better, a little bit sharper, and kind of inch my way through it,” Woods added. It looks like the golfer is as excited as his fans to make it to the victory once again. After all, his 2019 Masters win is a hugely inspirational story in itself.
