Despite the golf legend’s disappointing performances, PGA Tour pro Padraig Harrington believes that Tiger has still got it in him! With the Masters Tournament approaching in a few days, the golfer opened up to The Mail about how Woods can still be a strong contender despite his leg injuries.

“Swing-wise, he looks more capable than maybe the last couple of years,” said Harrington. “…and the one thing with Tiger is nobody wants to see him with coming down the stretch with nine holes to go.” The golf star also mentioned how Woods made it to the win, quite surprisingly, back in 2019, leaving numerous players behind him while he approached the final hole.

Talking about the golfer’s current physical state, Harrington also doubted if the golf ace would be able to take the heat physically. “Can he get himself there? That’s the question,” he said. “I think swing-wise he can, but the only thing that that’s in doubt is the physicality. Physically, it’s hard to know how he how he would handle the week.”

Well, if one was to ask Woods, he has been practicing day and night to make sure he performs his best form at the Masters. After all, his main focus is going to be playing at all four major championships, as per his statements, and a few other events. Although his recent tournaments have not been as great as the fans were expecting, one can never count Woods out.

If the golf star manages to claim the title this year, he will be able to tie 6x Masters winner Jack Nicklaus for having the highest number of green jackets! And keeping in mind his 2019 Masters victory, his love for the tournament might push him to go the extra mile this time!
