At his recent appearance at, The Steam Room, Barkley expressed his opinion on the feud between the PGA Tour players and LIV golfers. He was definitely not happy about PGA Tour players bashing Phil Mickelson, and their unfair treatment towards LIV golfers.
Charles Barkley Unhappy With PGA Tour Players Bashing LIV Golfers Especially Phil Mickelson
In the recent episode of, The Steam Room, Barkley talked incessantly about the Masters. He said that he was unhappy with the bashing and dig that PGA Players were taking at the LIV Golfers. He thought it was “whiny” of them.

“I wanted to say something to the PGA Tour, they’re just being whiny, the shots they are taking at LIV guys, the announcers, especially the shots they are taking at Phil Mickelson.”
He especially pointed out the dig that golfers and announcers were taking at Phil Mickelson.“I think it’s unfair”, said the 60-year-old. “Phil Mickelson has been the second greatest thing in golf the last 30 years after Tiger Woods, he’s been the 2nd best player, probably been the best ambassador for golf last 30 years”, the NBA Hall of Famer added.
Charles Barkley spoke in favor of the players and said that he hopes the best for them, “Those guys went to LIV, I wish them nothing but the best”. He thinks it is unfair of the PGA Tour players to call them “sellouts, money grubbers”.
Well, LIV golfers have been performing exceptionally well at the 87th Masters, with 12 out of 18 having made the cut.

More recently, on The Dan Patrick Show, the host asked Barkley about his most recent visit to the Masters. In response, the TNT sports personality used the opportunity to express his disapproval of the way PGA Tour golfers have been treating the LIV players. “These PGA Tour dudes have been too rough on these LIV guys. I think the disrespect they’ve shown Phil Mickelson is ridiculous,” noted the former NBA player.
Barkley, then also defended Mickelson, “I think the disrespect they’ve shown Phil Mickelson is ridiculous. They should be kissing his ***, to be honest with you because Phil has made those guys more money in the last year and a half…They should be thanking him”
