Phil Mickelson opens up about his Masters experience
The six time major champion attended a flash interview on Friday at Augusta National. The reporter wanted to know if calling ANGC “almost therapeutic,” was right. Or was it “ just what it does to people when they step inside?” Mickelson replied with better terms to be used and said, “I would use the word more spiritual because, if you love golf, when you come here, it’s more of a spiritual experience, where you feel this appreciation for this great game and the gratitude that you have.”

The professional golfer added that history is created at Augusta each year. And that legacy is significant to both him and the other golfers. Whether it’s a PGA Tour player or a LIV golfer, makes no difference. Everyone admires and respects the sport, including the venerable Masters Tournament.
