With the Masters Tournament looming, leading golfers worldwide are preparing to contest at the distinguished Augusta National. The next week appears to be exhilarating as several renowned players have been in remarkable condition. Augusta National announced in December last year that LIV golfers would be eligible to participate. That means a LIV Golf player has the chance to compete for the coveted Green Jacket.

Greg Norman, the CEO of LIV Golf, has disclosed that if any LIV Golf player wins the Green Jacket, there could be an exceptionally fantastic surprise in store. Having secured the LIV Golf League trophy in Orlando on Sunday, Brooks Koepka is heading to Augusta National with a highly positive attitude and looking forward to his return to Magnolia Lane.

Brooks Koepka won the second LIV Golf title of his career on Sunday after his two-shot victory in the upstart circuit’s Orlando event. He fired a closing three-under 68 to claim his 2nd victory at Orlando’s Orange County National Course. Koepka pocketed the prize of $4 Million with this win.

Koepka and his fellow golfers from LIV will be attending the Masters in Georgia, which marks the first meeting since the golf split. A significant aspect of the event will be the reception of the 18 qualifiers from the Saudi-supported enterprise. Koepka, a four-time Major champion, is excited to play at Augusta National and compete against other skilled players like McIlroy and defending champion Scheffler, making the event even more extraordinary.

“I’m looking forward to it,” said Brooks Koepka. “That’s a fact; you always want to play against the best. That’s going to make Augusta even more special.” Koepka seconds the point made by Norman that it would be a tremendous show for LIV Golf if one of their players wins the Masters.

He also confirmed that the other 17 players would be there to celebrate with the dinner at the final green. “Yeah, I think if one of the LIV players does win, I think it’ll be definitely a huge statement for LIV, and I know that all 18 of us want to win,” he added. “I think when you look at it, if one of the guys does. I would be shocked if all of us aren’t there.”

Koepka misses playing with the best

According to Brooks Koepka, competing against golfers such as Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler was something he missed. Being able to play alongside them again in the Masters will make the experience even more significant for him.
