The iconic Masters Tournament is witnessing the players of both Tours on the same course. However, in the past year, the Tour of Greg Norman has come very far. They have achieved certain milestones in the form of TV broadcast deals, new players, and new teams. And recently, the CEO jotted down the points on why LIV Golf is a legacy. But more importantly, he agreed with the rival Tour’s commissioner, despite the rivalry.
Greg Norman in agreement with Jay Monahan!
The CEO of the LIV Golf League has posted a video in which he was seen agreeing with a statement of PGA Tour commissioner, Jay Monahan. Norman talked about LIV Golf being his legacy and then explained the calculations, agreeing with the PGA Tour commissioner. He said, “There was a comment made by the commissioner of the other tour. It’s product versus product. That’s true. Product versus product. Both can exist, easily exist.” He believes fans love Bay Hill, they love the PGA Tour, but they love what Norman is delivering at LIV.

LIV Golf League is a generational wealth. It is also Norman’s legacy because they have given a new air and a new platform to the golfers to hone their skills differently. Playing with the team and team building is igniting a fire within the defectors, and they are acing, which was not possible on the PGA Tour. And that is why Brooks Koepka gave thumbs up to Norman’s plans.

However, things have been different for LIV Golf. Now, players get even more nervous playing and watching team members. If a golfer is playing badly, as a part of team building, others will have to pick up for them. And if they are playing well, then they try to pull everybody else along. How are LIV golfers doing at the Masters Tournament?
12 LIV defectors were able to make the cut on Saturday at the Masters Tournament. They completed 36 holes and will continue for 36 more. Unfortunately, two LIV golfers could not make it because they had to withdraw in the middle of the tournament: Kevin Na and Louis Oosthuizen. But things are looking uphill for Brooks Koepka, as he is still in the lead. He is trailing under 12, whereas Phil Mickelson is trailing under 4. After finishing his round on Friday, Koepka said, “I feel really good. I like the way I’m swinging the golf club, putting it, chipping it, driving it, iron play is solid.” Does this mean that defectors will actually get to celebrate at the 18th hole?
