On Sunday, Scottie Scheffler ended his run at Augusta National by tying for the 10th spot on the leaderboard. The 2022 Masters winner’s outing this year was relatively successful, with several other past green jacket winners faring disappointingly.
A calm presence on the golf course, Scheffler’s rare not-so-tranquil moment from Augusta has now gone viral on the internet. As spectators looked on, the golfer looked visibly frustrated as he exchanged a few words with his putting coach, Randy Smith.

Scheffler launched his Masters campaign this year, hoping to join Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, and Sir Nick Faldo as the only golfers to clinch back-to-back green jackets at Augusta. However, the golfer had to be satisfied with his T10 finish on the leaderboard. Scheffler and other T10 finishers walked away with $432,000 each in earnings.
Now, the young golfer will hope to get back on track to go head-to-head against other heavyweights at the 2023 RBC Heritage in Harbour Town. The designated event has a lucrative prize purse of $20 million, and 26-year-old Scottie Scheffler is one of the favorites going into the tournament.
