Brooks Koepka will soon tee up at Augusta National. He is buckled up and ready to claim a green jacket this year. But his wife, Jena Sims, is out making blunders and not owning it. She gained huge publicity and attained renewed fame after the second episode of the Netflix docuseries, Full Swing. Since then, she has been more active online than ever. And now, as her husband puts his heart and sweats into his first Masters victory, Sims had a little chat with Claire Rogers.

Jena Sims recently appeared in the first episode of a new show, The Scoop with Claire Rogers.’The ladies talked about the Netflix docuseries, the Masters and Brooks Koepka. And all this while enjoying scoops of ice cream, as the title of the show suggests. However, while discussing her first meeting with Koepka’s family, she made an unexpected slip of the tongue.

Sims discussed her first date and said they met at the Masters, and their eyes locked. “I’m at home, and Jonas Blixt was staying with him. And his whole entire family. Trey, his college football coach. I met all the important people in his life on our first date. I loved it.” She did not mean to say football coach, instead, it was golf. However, she blamed it on ice cream. The model shared the snippet of the interaction on her Instagram story and explained her mistake.

She said, “When I said football coach, you know I meant golf.” She added, “Blaming the sugar.” Sims also commented on the post and clarified, “His football coach lol and by that I meant GOLF 😂😂” It was a fun interaction, and GOLF.com posted a snippet of their interview on Instagram. It was indeed an innocent and decadent mistake!

Not the first time Jena has made a blunder!

Calling a golf coach a football coach is not the only blunder she has made. Her husband is the captain of Smash GC; therefore, he has some responsibilities. Ahead of the 2023 season, the team was spending some fun time off-course, and they were debating about dinner plans. Sims took up the responsibility of handling it all. She excitedly booked a hotel giving a “pirate picnic” vibe. But her mistake, she never checked what they actually meant. And when the team reached there, it turned out to be a kid’s show!
