Despite being involved in countless controversies during his PGA Tour career, Patrick Reed has never let his guard down. It is almost like a routine for the player to be accused by golf fans of something or the other in every tournament he plays. However, since the time the golf star defected to the LIV Golf League, Reed has managed to stay away from such situations. But with his appearance at the 2023 Masters Tournament, the golfer has made a comeback on the camera. And as expected, his statements have unleashed another huge potential dispute among fans!
Patrick Reed displayed his confidence in an interview
Reed, 32, has had a pretty rough time during his days on the PGA Tour. Although the golfer is highly talented and has tons of fans of his skills, he has been heavily scrutinized for some of his actions on the field. In fact, there have been times when fans and other professional players accused the golfer of allegedly ‘cheating’ during tournaments.

However, none of these allegations and hardships have been able to bring Reed’s head down. In fact, the player seemed pretty confident about his game during the flash interview before the mega-tournament. Moreover, when asked about how he feels about others judging him on his LIV Golf decision, his reaction was priceless.
A reporter asked Reed about his response to people’s opinions whenever he hears them talk about him having “dropped off” or his inability to compete. “Does that make you laugh?”, the reporter questioned. Reed replied, “Yeah, it does.” He proceeded to give a daring seven-word reminder to everyone.
He said that the last time he checked, “I’m the one with the green jacket.” Not to forget, the nine-time PGA Tour winner also claimed the 2018 Masters Tournament title. Currently tied for 26th at the Augusta National, the player continues to display his swinging skills to his fans! But for Reed, his undying confidence has taken his chances of winning the title even higher.
