Despite his longtime absence from social media and media interactions, the golfer recently appeared in a video sharing special tips and tricks for amateur golfers. Golf.com shared a video where the golf star highlights chipping mistakes that young golfers make. Talking about the three major mistakes that amateurs make during chipping, Mickelson said, “Claire, there are three things you have to do when you chip and most amateurs do none of them.”

According to the golf legend, amateurs need to keep their weight forward while chipping so they can drive the club down. Moreover, a golfer needs to have his “hands ahead of the club” while chipping. While his third tip was probably the most important one, according to him. It was about the player needing to decide if he wanted to go low or high before he chipped the ball. As per Mickelson’s experience, a golfer shouldn’t stand in the middle as that would hinder him from making a low or high vicinity chip.

Where has Mickelson been for so long?
Ever since Mickelson joined LIV Golf, he hasn’t made many appearances in interviews and other media interactions.
