Annika Sorenstam is regarded as one of the greatest female golf players. The 2003 Hall of Fame induction star has millions of fans across the world. However, one of her biggest fans is the person closest to her, and that is her husband, Mike McGee. The former NBA star is very supportive of the golfer and her career. Consequently, he shared the stats from a recent match and expressed how he felt about his wife’s performance.
Mike McGee shares excellent news about Annika Sorenstam’s recent performance
Being her biggest admirer, McGee has been showing all his support to his wife. And even the golfer would admit that her family, especially her husband, is the reason for her to continue playing golf for so long. And that too years after retiring as a professional. Thankfully, both her husband and her kids love to watch her on the field and keep motivating her to play.

Sorenstam was on the field yesterday at the One Greenway Invitational. And she definitely made an impact on everyone who saw her play. But most evidently, her husband. And we say this because the proud man shared the golfer’s scores from yesterday on Twitter and mentioned how great Sorenstam was on the field. Here’s what he wrote:
“Well, today sure was fun. Here was @ANNIKA59’s 62nd shot of the day and she made the putt for her 10th birdie of a final round 63!! Thanks, @onegreenway_ for a great week! Thanks, @CallawayGolf for her new putter!!”

McGee also shared her scorecard from the match. And it showed that she made it to most holes staying under par or at par. The leaderboard showed that she was tied for 17 with a 5-under par. Mike also shared a couple of clips of Sorenstam hitting the ball, and of course, him applauding her for her shots!

McGee and the kids keep pushing Sorenstam to do better in each tournament. And she highly credits her son, William McGee, for having helped her get back on the field. Will also made his debut in Junior Golf recently and is on his way to making his parents proud after turning pro.
