Former world champion Tiger Woods is always on the news for various reasons. The golf ace is surrounded by the media and their cameras almost every time he steps out. Even fans like to capture every glimpse of the player on their smartphones. But Woods is not very fond of cameras. No one knows the true reason behind Woods’ distance from the lenses. But he sure has had some weird encounters with them.

Fans were shocked to know what Woods’ agent revealed about his unexpected encounter with a camera!

Tiger Woods once had an unbelievable incident with a camera

Tiger Woods doesn’t like media attention for a lot of reasons. But this story that his agent brought to everyone’s attention was never heard before. Once, the sports personality was in Italy to watch his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Caroline Vonn in her 63rd World Cup race.

However, the headlines had more mentions of him the next day than anyone else. And that too for a strange reason.

Woods’ agent stated the golfer lost a tooth because of a camera. “During a crush of photographers at the awards podium at the World Cup event in Italy, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged toward the stage, turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth,” the statement said. 

“Woods’ tooth was knocked out by the incident.”

The organizers of the race, however, said otherwise. They stated that no such incident was mentioned to them, and they had met the requests made by Tiger Woods – extra security and a snowmobile for his exit.

Secretary General Nicola Colli told The Associated Press, “I was among those who escorted him from the tent to the snowmobile and there was no such incident…When he arrived he asked for more security and we rounded up police to look after both him and Lindsey.”

Woods snapped at a cameraman during the PGA Championship

Tiger Woods has had more than just one weird interaction with the camera. And in this case, the culprit was the camera operator. Woods was playing at the PGA Championship in Oklahoma, when a cameraman decided to get too close to Woods, well, physically.

“Would you mind giving me some breathing space, please?” The golfer sincerely asked him. But it didn’t make much of a difference to the situation.

And after decently asking him to step away thrice, Woods said in a bold voice: “Back off!”. However, it seemed that this time, the cameraman understood that Woods was not in a mood to talk nicely anymore. Finally, he stepped away!
