Luke Donald with his European squad is currently on the scouting trip to Marco Simone and is making the most of it. They are studying the course, and learning every little detail about it. What caught the captain’s eye particularly was the entry path to the first tee on the course.

The team’s official Twitter page shared a walk-down video that a golfer has to go through in order to reach the first tee, and it gave the complete vibe of a gladiator entering a colosseum. It started off with the cameraman walking down the stairs, walking on a rugged path to reach the beautiful luscious greens, or in this case, the Warfield.

It reminded the spectators of a revered Rome theme. Upon seeing the video, fans were curious and wished luck to the European squad.
