Tiger Woods is probably the greatest golfer of all time. He has bagged 82 PGA Tours and 15 major championships in his career so far. However, we all know his contribution to golf is inexplicable, he brought this sport to a global level and got fame and money into this game. 

Meanwhile, in this incredible journey as a great golfer, even his caddie has played a vital role. Firstly, it was Steve Williams and then Joe LaCava, who has been carrying the bag for him since 2011. Moreover, LaCava recently revealed what Woods texted him after they won the Masters in 2019.

Joe LaCava reveals what Tiger Woods texted him after winning the 2019 Masters

Tiger Woods was struggling with injuries, especially since 2012. Hence, he had to miss plenty of events and sometimes even a whole season. But still, Joe never caddied for any other player and showed his loyalty toward Woods. Hence, when they won the 2019 Masters, it was an incredible moment.

But the crowd was so loud that he couldn’t hear what Tiger said on the 18th green after making the winning putt. However, when he checked his phone on Sunday night, he had around 670 messages. Notably, even Tiger sent him a text and wrote, “We did it. Appreciate you hanging in there with me. I love you like a brother.”

The five-time green jacket winner thanked Joe for staying with him and not leaving, even when he wasn’t playing due to injuries. In this way, Tiger thanked LaCava, and their caddie player relationship still remains intact. Moreover, this duo was last seen at the 2021 PNC Championship, where Tiger competed with his son Charlie and finished runner-up.

Meanwhile, LaCava still remains with Woods even though he hasn’t competed on the PGA Tour for more than a year now. He is still recovering from a horrific solo car crash that occurred in February 2021.
