Nine days back, Tiger Woods confirmed his comeback rumors after the recovery break. Woods took a hiatus once he went through the plantar fasciitis surgery and as he struggled with health. The legend has been off of the golf course for seven months straight. But now with his ceremonial comeback just around the corner, will it be as sensational as expected? Or will the Bahamas weather will act as a huge constraint?

Will the Bahamas weather hamper Tiger Woods’ much-awaited comeback?

The Albany Golf Course has been hosting the Hero World Challenge since 2015. The event moved from its Sherwood Country Club to Florida and then ended up in the Bahamas. The event has hosted eight editions in the Bahamas so far, with the ninth one coming in just a couple of days.

The Golf Course is situated on the shoreline of the Bahamas Island. The 18-hole golf course is expanded into 7,400 yards and was designed by Ernie Els and his team. It consists of five par 5, eight par 4s, and five par threes.

The golf course being located on the Island sometimes witnesses uninvited rainfall that may break Woods’s dream of an epic comeback. However, the weather forecast shows no risks of rain. The average temperature in Albany, New Providence, reaches between 71°F to 70°F. While the wind coming from the north at 10 to 20 mph. The gust has a speed of 18.6 mph. With no high-speed winds, the golfers will hit shots with ease.

It will be smooth for players as the sun sets out after 10 hours and there are no precipitation risks. So, Woods’ anticipated comeback is at zero risk of being disturbed by rain and the rain god will not disparage the challenge. The event boasts a hefty prize money and would be telecasted by big media outlets.

The prize money, tee times, and how to watch the 2023 Hero World Challenge? 

The event has top golfers from the top 20 in the OWGR and boasts a $3.5 million purse and the winner earning a $1 million purse. The event will start with a 2-day practice session prior to the main event and then continue for the first round on the 30th. The highly anticipated event will be aired by The Golf Channel and NBC.

The first two rounds will be televised by Golf Channel and streamed on Peacock from 1:30-4:30 p.m. EST. The third round broadcasts from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on The Golf Channel and 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. on NBC. The Final round timings for the television are 11:00-1:30 p.m. on Golf Channel and 1:30-4:30 p.m. on NBC and simultaneously on Peacock. Will you be tuning in to watch Woods return to golf?
