Tournament Favorites
Coming back from an injury after an early withdrawal from the Asian LPGA Tour events, Nelly Korda must be looking forward to making a statement. She will be aiming for the 7th title of the season and the $487,500 prize money. It’s worth noting that Nelly Korda has also won the event twice before. If she grabs a win this year, then it would be her 3rd Annika in 4 years. However, she will face tough competition from the defending champion, Lilia Vu. The world no. 3, Vu will be aiming to not only win the tournament but also get closer to Korda on the Rolex Rankings.

Ruoning Yin, who was recently promoted to the 2nd rank, will also be looking for title glory. The 22-year-old has already won 3 LPGA Tour events this season and is in great form. She will definitely be eager to continue her run and capture The Annika 2024. Another player who has been eager for LPGA glory is Charley Hull. She has not won a single LPGA event in 2 years. Coming off hot with a win in LET, she will also be fighting for the top prize at the Pelican Golf Club. Everyone would also be aware of the threat Lydia Ko presents in the tournament.
