The tournament boasts a $3.25 million purse, making it one of the most significant events in the LPGA Tour outside of major championships. It has attracted nine of the Top 10 players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

Competing at the event will be a solid field of 120 players, which includes the 32 players out of the Top 50 players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. Clearly the competition will be cutthroat. The presence of the two-time defending champion Nelly Korda will make it all the more interesting.

Having made a comeback into the field of competitive golf last year, Nelly managed to put out an amazing show and defend her title amidst all odds stacked against her. This year, the LPGA cover girl has a stunning opportunity to win this event for the third consecutive time. This is a remarkable achievement that only a few golfers have been able to achieve in their lifetime.
