PGA Tour pro speaks about the lawsuit filed by LIV Golf players
Rocco Mediate belongs to the PGA Tour family and has won six tournaments so far. Mediate has also claimed the title for the PGA Tour Champions three times. He recently gave a few statements about the ongoing LIV vs PGA drama and said that it is not right for the LIV Tour players to try and “destroy” what made them.
Mediate said, “So if you were to have your — I don’t know what kind of tour you would call that tour — go ahead. Go ahead and have it,… Just don’t try and destroy what made you. That’s what pi**es me off to no end.” He also stated that if the players want to play on the Saudi-backed tour, they should not expect to be a part of PGA as well.

The lawsuit is filed in context to the alleged anti competitive practices and restraint of trade by the PGA Tour. The main purpose of the lawsuit seems to be the frustration of the players after being banned by their former tour. However, Rocco Mediate and a lot of other PGA Tour golfers believe that everyone knew the rules and that they should not blame the Tour for the ban.
