Ludvig Aberg had emerged victorious in the Omega European Masters held at Crans-sur-Sierre with a score of 19-under 261. Moreover, the win at the $2.5 million event earned him a place as a Ryder Cup pick from the captain Luke Donald. Leading the scorecard at the BMW PGA Championship with a total of 6-under 200, the 23-year-old was seen sporting a calm mindset in the midst of it all.
Responding to the question as to how much from the previous victory he would like to replicate, the European Tour pro mentioned how the win in “Switzerland was cool”, especially since he did so while “coming from behind”. Moreover, he pointed out how “playing well over the back nine gave him a belief” that he can do it on the course.
Continuing on his response, the Omega European Masters champ conveyed how he believes he can do the same on this stage as well. Nevertheless, he confessed how, for him, it is just golf at the end of the day. “That’s what I try to do, hit every shot as good as I can,” said the golfer, while exhibiting a calm demeanor.
