However, it seems he was forced to wear the hat. During the PNC Championship, Charlie did wonders and showcased excellent golfing skills. But that was not why he was the center of attraction. It was his black hat with a snoopy in front of it.

The Woods duo attended the press conference on December 18. There, Charlie was asked about the mystery behind his never-seen-before snoopy hat. Unraveling the mystery behind the hat, he said that he had to wear it because that was the only hat that fits.

The 13-year-old junior golfer outgrew all his other hats and was only left with a snoopy hat to complete his attire. Explaining the reason, he said, “Well, it’s the hat that was in my closet and fits the best, and that’s all I can say about it.” Tiger Woods chimed in and appreciated the answer from his son. Acknowledging the answer, he said, “Great answer.”

Even if Charlie had to wear the hat, and he never intended to in the first place, this has become a thing. It’s a new style carried out by the son of the greatest of all time. 

Why did Tiger Woods not withdraw his name from PNC despite the injury?

Woods had to withdraw his name from the Hero World Challenge due to plantar fasciitis on his right foot. Therefore, he only focused on hosting duties. There were speculations of the golfer not playing at the PNC too. However, nothing like that happened, and he paired up with his son.

He did not withdraw the name from the championship because he wanted to create memories with his son. The last time he got that opportunity was in the 2021 PNC Championship; this time, he did not want to lose the chance to be with his son. In the latest tweet, he said, “It wasn’t exactly the result we were looking for, but being able to play with Charlie is always a win in my book.”
