Other than being a great golfer, Tiger Woods is also a great dad! So great that he created a viral holiday alias, ‘Mac Daddy Santa’ that his lovely children just love. I’m not sure if grown-up Charlie and Sam Woods still love their dad’s holiday alias, but Woods thought it was time to spread the Christmas joy to the rest of the world. With the motive to spread joy to the world, Woods could not help but cheerfully reminisce about a painful past Christmas memory.

The 15-time major champion surprised his fans with a festive appearance in a TaylorMade Christmas commercial, where he donned a red suit, a white beard, and a pair of sunglasses. He was joined by some of his fellow TaylorMade golfers, who played the roles of elves in Santa’s workshop. Charley Hull shared a behind-the-scenes video of the iconic commercial on her Instagram, where the 15x major champion shared that his first year’s Santa beard gave him blisters.

One of the crеw members in the video asked Woods, “How’s the mustache feel, Tigеr?” To which he replied, “Better than the first time I did it. That onе lеft blistеrs.” Woods was probably referring to his infamous Mac Daddy Santa disguise mishap. In an interview with the PGA Tour, Mr.T revealed he tried to dye his goatee white but ended up burning his skin with the chemicals.

The star-studded cast in the BTS video included Nеlly Korda, Scottie Schеfflеr, Tommy Flееtwood, and Collin Morikawa. All the members of the jolly commercial were donning their elf avatars. The crew member asked interesting questions to each golfer, and everyone seemed in a fun mood.

Morikawa hysterically suggested that he needed a haircut, and in the future, there should also be a barber on the set. Scheffler, on the other hand, seemed fascinated with his belt and suggested that it would come in handy for wrapping presents. The LPGA cover girl looked beautiful as always, as she was getting ready to mesmerize everyone with her elf look.

Though Rory McIlroy and Brooke Henderson were also in the commercial, they were not spotted in the funny BTS video. It can be said that the TaylorMade team sure made Christmas joyful for all the golf fans!

Team TaylorMade gave a nice surprise to Tiger Woods fans.

However, the 82x PGA Tour winner has not performed the Mac Daddy Santa stunt publicly since 2016, but this year Taylormade fulfilled the wish of many. The TaylorMade Christmas commercial was a way of celebrating the end of a remarkable yet difficult year for Woods. Not only for Woods, but the 2023 golf season brought a lot of ups and downs on the course for every golfer in the commercial.

For instance, Korda had her first winless non-pandemic season since turning rookie. The Northern Irishman could not end his major drought, despite coming close. It was indeed a tough golf season! All the stars posed with wrapped TaylorMade equipment, with the Christmas joy beaming out of the picture. From the looks of it, it seemed that Santa’s avatar, Woods, was keeping a watchful eye on all of the elves.
