Thanksgiving is one of the most prominent days in America. This day, people acknowledge the benefits and feel gratitude for whatever they have got throughout the year. Meanwhile, as golf season has come to an end across the world, except for a few tours, it’s time to reflect on and be grateful for an excellent season of golf.

This year, there were quite a few ups and downs in the golfing world. We had some great stories like Justin Thomas extending monetary support to a budding golfer, Michael Visacki. Furthermore, there were some horrifying stories, like Tiger Woods facing a solo car crash in February.

But as the season comes to an end, golf fans have got plenty of things to be grateful for. So let us have a look at the top 3 things to be grateful for as a golf fan.

Three reasons to be grateful for golf this thanksgiving

1. Both United States and Europe winning a cup

If you are an American fan, then you can be grateful for their historic victory at this year’s Ryder Cup in Whistling Straits. They collected 19 points, which is the most since 1979. However, if you are a European fan, then there is no need to get upset as you can be thankful for Team Europe’s victory at the Solheim Cup.

2. Phil Mickelson winning a major again

Phil Mickelson is one of the most loved golfers on the PGA Tour. He has a huge fan following, and it was evident during his victory at the 2021 PGA Championship at Kiawah Island earlier this year.

Phil became the oldest player to lift a major championship trophy, and it was a treat to watch Mickelson clinch majors for all the golfing fans around the world.

3. Tiger Woods recent video

Tiger Woods had faced a horrific solo car accident earlier this year. He had severe injuries to his right leg, and it wasn’t clear whether he will be able to walk once again or not.
