The world no. 2, Nelly Korda, has finally found her rhythm back after a tough 2023 season. The golfer has had an average season so far and has had to withdraw from some tournaments given her health conditions as well. But she has finally reclaimed her place again and shown the world what she is here for!

The golfer found her first victory of the 2023 season by claiming the individual title at the Aramco Team Series in London. However, Just moments after securing her win, the golfer had other prior plans that she needed to cater to to satiate her hunger. And it had everything to do with her alternate sport choice: tennis!

Nelly Korda enriches her win in London with her family sport to spend some more special moments in London

After her third win on the Ladies European Tour, the 24-year-old LPGA golfer opted to make her London visit even more special. She got to live her Wimbledon dream and experience the magic of one of the most highly reputed tennis tournaments in the world. Korda herself comes from a Tennis family; her parents are former tennis stars, and her brother, Sebastian Korda, plays tennis.

She shared glimpses of her Wimbledon visit with the fans on her Instagram stories, and she was seen smiling from ear to ear. The golfer was at the stadium to witness the Men’s singles Wimbledon final live, wherein Carloz Alcaraz faced off against Novak Djokovic. The Spaniard dominated the Serbian and finally emerged victorious, defeating the four-time defending champion.

Korda, of course, was more than happy to have added another great memory to her already brilliant day, and that was reflected on her social media. She posted an Instagram story recording her experience and commenting that it was “not shabby” at all. She even met the Kazakhstanian tennis great Elena Rybakina there and posted a photo with her on her story, captioned, “Nice to meet you. #TallGirls.”

Indeed, Wimbledon is an experience that no tennis enthusiast wants to miss, and fortunately, Korda got to witness it. What made it even more special for her, of course, was her own win, her first of the 2023 season, that came just hours before she headed to The Center. Oh, and what a spectacular win indeed!

From her first shot off the tee, the younger Korda sister began dominating the field. Even the stormy winds at the Centurion Club could not lower the golfer?s spirit to emerge victorious. The world no. 2 headed into the final round with a lead and managed to keep the lead right until the end.

She took home the whopping $75K prize money along with the trophy by beating out Charley Hull with a three-stroke lead and a score of 11 under par. Last year she won the indivisual title in Spain too by a whopping 7 strokes. Perhaps grabbing a win at the Amarco Team Series will become her yearly ritual.
