Norman and the tennis legend, Chris Evert’s, relationship rumor started at the end of 2006 when they split from their respective partners. Evert got a divorce from her husband of 18 years, Andy Mill. Whereas, the Australian golfer separated from his wife of 25 years, Laura Andrassy.
“These two people have really meant a lot to me for a long time,” Mill, who is also a good friend of Norman, told the media. Notably, Norman and Evert were keeping their relationship low-key when her ex-husband said this. “At this point, I just wish them great happiness,” Mill added.
Although he seemed okay with his ex-wife having a relationship with his friend, one of his best friends doesn’t think that way. “It was like the ultimate betrayal,” Paul Tejera, Mill’s best friend, said. “To find out she was with Greg Norman was a shock,” he stated.

“Our lifestyles were different,” Evert told Elle after the divorce. “My priority was my kids,” she added. “His priority was to build his business and travel.”
