Is Taylor Pendrith the next big thing in golf, or just having a lucky streak?

10 years after turning pro, Taylor Pendrith is finally showing his true potential in 2024. He captured his first PGA Tour victory back in May by winning the 2024 THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson. Now, we watch him dominating the Shriners Children’s Open 2024 after just Round 1. After the first day, Pendrith has already scored 10-under par 71 with 3 fewer strokes than his closest competitor. With that, he also achieved his career-low of 61. While 10 pros tied at -7 trying to catch up with Pendrith, he is enjoying his time at TPC Summerlin after scoring 10 birdies in 18 holes.

With Round 2 about to commence in a few hours, we are all excited to watch what Pendrith has in store for us. But before that, we would also love to know what he has going on in his golf bag that is helping him perform so well. So let’s get a look at his club set for the Shriners Children’s Open 2024.

Pendrith also has a 2nd fairway for a longer course. For his 7 wood requirements, he gets one of the most preferred clubs for a par-5 hole by many pros, the Ping G425 Max 20.5° with a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Green 90 6.5TX. The 7 wood comes at a price of $349 in the digital market.
