Tiger Woods may have attracted many to start watching golf as a professional sport. But the sport had already been a mode of recreation for many years. Many consider it a way to spend quality time with one another, whether with their family, colleagues, or neighbors.

However, is the sport only popular among human beings? Apparently not! After spotting animals driving golf carts and alligators taking a stroll through golf courses, one more member of the jungle family showed off how much the animal kingdom loves the sport through a 2018 video.

All Evan Byrne, his brother Matt, and their dad, according to rumble.com, wanted was to spend some quality together with each other through the sport they all love. However, not every plan would work the way how it was supposed to work.

According to the video uploaded by Evan Byrne on the Rumble platform in 2018, a wild black bear interrupted the golfers while they were on the green. Interestingly, the bear was not there to attack the players at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler but to play along with them.

The wild thing, not John Daly but the real one, took an interest in a golf ball of one of the players. “Oh MY GOD!!! He’s hugging Matt’s golf ball,” the videographer exclaimed when the bear went to his brother’s ball while their father was taking his shot. Soon enough, the bear changed its strategy, making Even Byrne exclaim even more loudly. “He’s eating your golf ball!!!”

Did the wild thing let go of the golf ball?

The bears are an everyday scenery at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. In fact, the resort management even added instructions on how to act if anyone spots them.

According to the instructions, people must stay away from them, so that both can coexist peacefully. However, the father from the golfer group was not in the mood to think of those instructions. He held his club against the bear and warned it to let go of the ball.

His warning, although didn’t work on the animal, scared his children, as they thought his actions might have triggered the bear to attack him.

In the end, the forest guy just gave up and dropped the ball so that the family of three could resume their game. That, or the bear probably would have just found the place noisy with all the talking and just wanted to get out of there!
