  • Harry Higgs and Joel Dahmen taking off their shirts at par 3 16. The American Professionals turned the wild crowd more wild after Harry took off his shirt after sinking his birdie put in the final round of the event. It was not only Harry but Joel who also joined the party with Harry. The crowd showered them with liquor as well as with cups.
  • Sam Ryders’ Ace. Ryder made a hole-in-one on the 16th hole in the third round of the event. Ryder made the crowd wild after making a hole-in-one. As a result, the fans present showered the tee box as well as the green with liquor and with cups.
  • Carlos Ortiz made the second hole-in-one of the week at the 16th hole. He made a hole-in-one from 178 yards to a back positioned pin in the final round of the event. The crowd once again showered the green with beer, throwing cups onto the green. Wow! the maintenance staff had a tough week at the 16th hole.

  • Aaron Rodgers becoming nervous at the 16th hole. During a practice round with Jon Rahm, the quarterback was seen getting nervous and booed by the fans on the 16th hole. Rodgers made a couple of practice swings before hitting his shot and was getting really nervous. It was really fun to watch.
  • Justin Thomas chipping it in at the 16th hole. Thomas made a birdie as a result, of a beautiful chip in from behind the green. The crowd was hyped after seeing him chip and Justin also was enjoying the crowd screaming.

How much did the winner take home last week?

The 2022 WM Phoenix Open had a total prize money pool of $8.2 million. The winner of the event, Scottie Scheffler, won a whopping $1,476,000 share of the prize money. As a result, of his epic win in a two-man playoff against Patrick Cantlay.
