Have an interesting take?

We all know how important it is to choose the right wedges and putter as they can irreversibly make or break one’s game. So, when it comes to his short game, Sungjae Im puts his trust in only Titleist’s precision-crafted wedges and putters. His arsenal includes three Titleist Vokey Design SM9 Wedges which are each tailored to specific loft and bounce configurations. The 48° wedge boasts a 10F bounce at 47° while the 54° wedge has a 14F bounce at 53° which eventually completes the set as the 60° wedge with a 04L bounce. These amazingly crafted wedges are paired with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts that cost $269.99 and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips.

Each of the 48° and 54° wedges is priced at $279, while the 60° wedge costs $299. It may seem like they’re expensive, but it’s a small cost compared to the big victories they help the golfers achieve. Im’s putter of choice is the legendary Scotty Cameron F-5 which costs $449.99 and is enhanced with a SuperStroke Zenergy 1.0PT grip but again price is not the point here. Im relies on the Titleist Pro V1x Ball that costs $54.99 per dozen to complete his ultimate setup. So do you think this arsenal will help the golfer win the trophy for his team at the 2024 Presidents Cup? Let us know in the comments below.
