What is a better birthday present than remembering the hard work you put in for a successful career? On his birthday, the PGA Tour posted the summer routine that Jack Nicklaus used to follow to improve his golfing skills.

Nicklaus’ schedule for practice when he was a young golfer is a motivational message for all of us. Only by looking at it, we see how many hours he invested to be the greatest of all time.

His routine started with him walking from home to the golf course and ended with him walking back to his home. In between, he would practice his putting, hitting balls, and most notably, play 18 holes twice a day.
When the PGA Tour posted this on their Instagram, fans were in awe to find how hard working this legend was.

Although most of the fans were amazed by the schedule Jack Nicklaus used to follow, some pointed out how the young golfers didn’t even follow half of this routine.
“yea no pro plays 36 everyday and 95% don’t even play a full 18 everyday,” added another fan in the comments.
A look back at Jack Nicklaus’ career
Jack Nicklaus is one of the veteran golfers who was once the most successful golfer of all time. The 82-year-old turned pro in 1961 and joined PGA Tour the next year. As a Tour golfer, he won over 70 titles in 28 years.

Nicklaus joined PGA Tour Champions in 1990 and won 10 championships there as well. Additionally, he claimed numerous wins in International events. The number of victories he had achieved throughout his career might be overwhelming in the eyes of the fans. However, it is nothing compared to the hard work and time he invested in golfing.
While looking at his schedule and level of activity, it is unbelievable to learn how much time Nicklaus would spend on the course to practice his skills to be the best.
