Ever since the inception of LIV Golf, there has been one constant concern that surrounded the league, i.e. about survivability. With limited partnership and revenue generation, keeping up with the legacy creator, the PGA Tour seemed monumental. Until now, the events on the tour have failed to generate an amount equaling to the prize pot.

With huge contracts for the players and limited revenue. The doom of the league was predicted very soon. However, in the past year, the Saudi-backed league left no stone unturned with their new strategy for revenue generation. Previously, the league got many sponsors for its events as well as for its teams.

Other users also joined in writing, “I would never watch LIV” and “Liv sucks to watch.” It seems fans do not like the format of LIV Golf in comparison to the PGA Tour. Additionally, LIV only has a handful of events when compared to the PGA. Even though fans disliked the streaming experience of the PGA Tour, they are still choosing the PGAT over the LIV Golf.

Joining the discussion, one curious fan commented, “I wonder what happened to the “deal” that was supposed to be in the works between the two?” Watching the two leagues separately isn’t what the golf world expected. Now, with the merger deal in talks for more than a year, people are curious about the timeline and are hopeful of a development shortly.
