The PGA Tour Star, Rickie Fowler, recently finished the 2023 Open Championship at T23. The challenging greens at the Hoylake showed no mercy to any golfer, including the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic winner. However, despite this underwhelming finish in the last men’s golf major, Fowler still grabbed the positive, prompt attention of golf enthusiasts.

This happened courtesy of an interesting video that resurfaced on Instagram. Fans couldn’t help but be shocked at how unconventional the 34-year-old looked in it. It also starred Bubba Watson and two other PGA Tour Pros. The unorthodox element of the clip urged golf enthusiasts to crackle with laughter.

In 2011, four PGA Tour Pros—Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Hunter Mahan, and Ben Crane—launched a music video. It was named Oh Oh Oh by Golf Boys. Since the use of social media at that time was not as extended as it is now, the video did not reach a larger audience. However, now prior to the 2023 Open Championship, it resurfaced again on the internet.

Thanks to the Instagram handle, Not Another Golf Meme, golf fans were able to witness these professionals in a different persona. One that did not feature them as a golfer. Instead of taking the club in their hand, they were seen trying their luck as rappers. The video showcased these golfers on the field and in the studio, enjoying themselves.

They also sported funny dressing and if someone asked a one-direction fan, they looked right out of the Best Song Ever music video. Even the lyrics of the song added to the hilarity of the music video. In short, it can provide a wholesome experience to a golf fan who already hasn’t seen the video.

The users online also seemed to agree with the same. As the clip got viral, most of the golf fans couldn’t help but comment on how funny, yet catchy the music was. Some other fans also chimed in to comment on the specific golfer and his appearance.

‘Only real ones remember’: The golf world thoroughly amused by the resurfaced side-splitting clip

It is quite rampant for things on the internet to resurface, but to receive consistent attention is rather outlandish. The re-emerged video of Rickie Fowler and his fellow golfers grabbed the immediate attention of the golf world. It was rather funny that so many viewers recalled watching and jamming to the song previously.

They commented: “Song still slaps!”

“I used to listen to this on repeat,”

“Only real ones remember the og golf boys.”

While some fans found it straight-up hilarious, “I’ve never seen this. This is freaking hilarious,”

“Spitting Straight,” and “Internet GOOOLLLDDD!!!”
