Stewart Cink is a household name in the golf world and also has a major to his name by winning the Open Championship in 2009. Cink has since been inducted into the PGA Tour Champions and is attempting to win a title there as well.

The bag of the veteran golfer has been the same for many years now, For his driver Cink uses the PING G430 Max (10.5 degrees) with Graphite Design Tour AD XC 6X shaft which costs $549. The driver is suited with the highest MOI in PING’s history and provides the most forgiveness.

Moreover, the club also has 8 positions for customizing the hosel. The club head has been optimized with variable thickness and offers faster speed with less spin. Coming to fairways, there are two types of Fairway woods in Cink’s bag: Ping G430 Max (3 and 7 woods) with 15 and 21 degrees of loft, respectively.

The woods are ultra-lightweight and have a carbon fly wrap for lowering the CG and increasing the Moment of Inertia (MOI). They have spinsistency technology for lowering the spin and providing the optimum speed.

Iron, wedges, and putter

For irons, the 8x PGA Tour winner uses PING i210 (4-PW) with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issues X 100. This has been in the bag of American golfers for quite some time. The irons have an elastomer-filled head that promises a soft feel on impact and has a sharp edge that gives better controllability.

The 1x major champ carries the PING Glide 4.0 (56-12S and 60-6T) wedge in his bag. He has reduced wedges from 2 different models to one now. The milled grooves and compact shape of the wedge create more friction and lower the spin while the ball has optimum speed.

The only putter Cink has been using for the last 3 years is the PING Ketsch Vault 2.0. The putter is no longer available as a new version but can be found as a renewed or old model. Additionally, for golf balls, Cink uses the Titleist Pro V1x as used by many golfers with Golf Pride Tour Velvet Align used as the grips.
