Steve Striker is a PGA Tour veteran with 12 wins on the Tour and 17 victories, as the PGA Tour Champion under his belt. The 56-year-old will now be making an invitational entry into the PNC Championship with his youngest daughter, Izzi Stricker. He will surely try to win the 7th time in 2023 while playing alongside his daughter.
For the event, Stricker has chosen his drive as the Callaway Epic Speed Triple Diamond with 9 degrees of loft and Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 7.2 X shaft. The driver promises a low launch, low spin mixed with high speed. The improved footprint allows for better playability and also offers forgiveness. The driver retails for $186-$287.
As for the fairway wood, he uses Titleist 915F with 13,5 degrees of loft and Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro White 80 TX shaft. The 3-wood promises a high launch and flight for covering better distance with low spin. The club has an adjustable hosel and can be fitted to one’s needs.
The Hybrid used by 6x PGA Tour winner is Titleist 816 H1 with 17 degrees of loft. With Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 9.2 X, Stricker can use the hybrid for those unfortunate, rough lies. The club has more MOI and provides more distance with added launch and a thin head shape.

Irons, wedges, putter and more
Stricker uses Callaway Apex Pro ’19 Raw (-3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8 and -9) irons with Project X 6.5 shaft. With better forgiveness, it also provides better playability and control over the ball. The irons have a sleek and shiny look and go for $900-1,200. There are three wedges found in the bag of Stricker.

He uses the Titleist Vokey SM8 (46-10F), Titleist Vokey SM4 (60 @59), and Titleist Vokey SM7 (54-10S @53) with True Temper Dynamic Gold X 100 w/Sensicore shaft. The three wedges provided him with play from sand bunkers to rough or anywhere when the lie did not favor him. As for a putter, Stricker uses Odyssey White Hot No.2 with Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord and the Titleist Pro V1X golf ball. With his equipment set for the event, how do you think Stricker will perform at his first PNC Championship?
