‘Started Scrambling Up’: Joe Rogan Had Chills Down His Spine After Hearing About Frightening Encounter From a Golf Course

The golf world can often be full of surprises. There are moments that shock professional golfers and their fans every now and then. And these instances not only include people doing crazy things but also animals. Be it a snake resting peacefully inside the hole on the field, or an alligator casually taking a stroll! Yes, a real, giant, scary alligator. And when Joe Rogan heard a terrifying tale about one such alligator on the course, his reaction was priceless!

Guest shared a shocking alligator story with Joe Rogan

Rogan is one of the most well-known men among all commentators and podcast hosts. His podcast called The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the biggest hits in the industry. He loves talking about literally everything with his guests on the podcast including current affairs, philosophy, comedy, politics, and of course, golf!

In conversation with one of his guests, Rogan was left stunned for a few minutes when he heard what the person had to share. The guy started talking about an alligator as big as 14 feet in length. Here’s what he said:

“People were playing golf and it was a deer. Everybody standing there is going like, ‘It’s a deer’…’ look at that beautiful deer.” But little did anyone know what was going to happen to the poor animal. Apparently, the giant gator grabbed the deer, pulled it into the lake, spun, and took it to the bottom.

Well, that was not anywhere near how scary things were going to get. The guy continued speaking and mentioned the time when his mother was out on the same field playing golf three weeks later. And she had completely forgottten about the whole alligator situation. According to him, there was a point during the game when his mother shot the ball and it landed somewhere near the same lake. Unaware of what could happen, she stepped closer to the ball and ended up slipping into the lake.

“She fell in the lake up to her neck”, he said. “And then she remembered, and she started scrambling up the mud and grabbing at the reeds to get out of there. And the people that she was with had left.” Listening to this was already no less than a shock for Rogan, the man who used to host fear factor! His eyes almost bulged out in amazement at the story. However, the guest continued and said, “She was playing by herself for some reason, and then she just started laughing.”

Well, it might sound like an incomplete tale to you, but it was definitely shocking enough for Rogan to lose a night’s sleep. However, his fans didn’t seem to buy the story according to the comments on the video. But even if it was not true, it was a scary one! Do you think the guy made the story up?
