The 15-time major championship winner tweeted about the Cardinal’s winning the 2022 Women’s NCAA Golf Championship. He tweeted about the same through his Twitter account on May 26th. Moreover, the former World Number One made a congratulating tweet after Stanford won the national championship title at a challenging and demanding golf course.
Tiger himself played college golf for the Cardinals and won various colligate events for his alma mater.
The Cardinals emphatically won the 2022 Women’s NCAA Golf Championship. They won the national championship event on May 25th, 2022, at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. They won 3&2 over Oregon in the title match. Moreover, it was their second national championship win in the program’s history. As a result, they registered a historic win at the event.
The 82-time PGA Tour winner wrote a few words of appreciation for the women’s team in the tweet. The female golf team of Stanford will surely enjoy probably one of the greatest players of all time, acknowledging them for their incredible victory at a significant event.

Woods’ tweet said, “Congrats to Coach Anne and the rest of the Cardinal on a dominant year and another National Championship! #NerdNation.” Moreover, the great words that the five-time Masters champion wrote prove how happy he is to see his college team win a national championship.
At the same time, his words depict how even after ending his collegiate career with the Cardinals, he still cherishes the happy moments of his college and never backs down from encouraging them.

Furthermore, with their win on the 25th, they became the first Number One seed to win the title since the championship shifted to match play format in 2015. They also became the first team since the Arizona State to win both the individual and the team championship titles in the same year. Arizona achieved the same feat in 2017.
Woods’ college golf record
The 46-year-old was an 11-time winner when he used to play golf for Stanford. He won the 1996 men’s individual title at the NCAA championship. As a result, the golf legend became Cardina’s first individual champion since Frank Tatum in 1942.
